1. If you live in Texas, my still life is the Lone Star Living Bouquet for January-it is sold every January at all HEB Grocery stores in Texas.
2. You can also use my reference photo or photos from Lone Star Living Bouquet's social media -for the month of January.

Welcome to our Fast & Fearless Flowers classes which will be approximately one-hour in length., plus an optional 20-minute "tweak your painting" video. We hope you enjoy the concept of minimum time, minimal supplies and maximum fun!

As you will see in the video in this section, we recommend Golden's Modern Theory Heavy Body Acrylic Paint Set and Silver Brush Limited Brushes.

This particular paint set has the eight paint colors we will be using in our short -length classes; this month I added extras Carbon Black Fluid Acrylic, Teal and and Medium Magenta (but these can be mixed witht he eight colors in the paint set by using the FREE color mixing chart that comes with the set.

In the March Fast & Fearless Flowers class, I used a red- handled, white synthetic, 1/2" Angle Art Sherpa by Silver Brush Limited. But you can also use and 1/2" blue short handle Bristlon Brush.

These are the Golden Acrylic paint colors we will be using for the Lone Star Living January Fast Class.

Here are a few extra paints I used for convenience- but they ALL can be mixed easily from the Modern Theroy Paint set- just use the handy dandy paint poster - FREE -in each of Golden's Modern Theory Heavy Body Acrylic Paint Sets, to mix your colors!

My Studio set up includes the monthly Lone Star Living Bouquet arranged in a vase for my still life, the Golden Modern Theory Paint Set, the extra paints, a 1/2" Art Sherpa Angle Brush by SIlver Brush Limited, 11" x 14: Black Pre-Gessoed Canvas, easel, comfortable chair, water jars, small tin for Matte Medium, apron, paper towels, gloves (optional); all supplies can be purchased at your local craft stores or online. You can either paint your canvas black with Matt-finish gesso or purchase a canvas pre-gessoed in black.

Benefits of setting up your paint colors the same way each time-which should be the exact order on the top pf the Modern Theory Color Chart that comes FREE with your set.

• You can mix color with ease by looking at the chart
• A "palette set-up" routine you will allow you to feel organized and thus confident each time you paint.
• You will be able to know which color to add as you run low in one pile because you simply look at the chart.
